War situation in the country. Tough times, our armed forces giving it their all so we can sleep peacefully. People sitting in their homes 100s of Kilometres away from the border cannot even understand the losses that we are already suffering. Every life counts. Everything on this side of the territory counts because it’s OURS, it’s Indian. And we have to protect ourselves and the people around us. Because every brain counts.

But this will all be over, if not now, if not in a week, a month, or even years, but it will end. So what can we do in the meantime? Watch the news? Be panicked. No.

We have to utilise this time to become better, because it won’t come back. We have to become stronger than ever, build up on our strengths, explore new skills, get fit. Because our responsibility as civilians is not to watch the news all day, be panicked. It is to do what we as civilians and citizens are supposed to do. We have all the trust in the Indian Army and their commitment to the job. All we can do is learn from them and do our job.

We have the present in our hands. It’s our time. Make it count.
